The Haven’s 16th Annual Golf Outing

The Haven of Rest, has announced its 16th annual golf outing to benefit the Men’s Life Recovery Program, commonly known as the LRP.

The LRP is a 12-month course where students of different ages and backgrounds learn coping mechanisms and life skills to break the substance abuse cycle and recover their independence. While being students of the program, The Haven provides for their needs for a whole year.

Daniel Jones, Executive Director of The Haven, at the 2022 golf outing.In 2022 the program saw 42 students, which translates to 6,868 bed nights of shelter and 11,175 meals. This fundraiser is one way The Haven has to keep its operations supported.

The Haven’s Golf Outing will be held on August 18th, at Binder Park Golf Course. Sign up for a 4-person scramble -1 or 2 people teams are also welcomed- and get the chance to win a 2-year lease on a brand-new Toyota Highlander 2023, Omaha Steaks for a whole year, a $500 value Mastercard gift card, a set of Callaway X Hot irons, or one of the items from the raffle.
